Cpu: R9 3900x -- cpu degrated as in 03.07.2026*04:19:16AM, cpu is NOT stable at default 38x multiplier, now runs at 35x to be stable and not shutdown and shit itself...What can i say...RYZEN MASTER! --- As in 05.07.2026 date the pc is even more unstable, it is unable to boot without throwing 50 diffrent error codes, i.e ram, cpu, fans, etc... At the time as i said about the 50 error codes it was about 3-4 AM, now after 12 hours (16:42:03 same date 05.07.2026) system does NOT boot anymore with the XMP profile...

I had to do micro-soldering on it, which i fucking hate doing, but despite that i'm very good at it.
Why did i do that? Well the entire pcb was corroded and full of spunk...
And also i had to remake the entire power switch & volume switch as they are shitty potentiometers and had to improvise, but it works great!

I choose this machine, because it was the single machine in the market that could be thin, light, small, very powerfull, extreme QC & build quality.
I do a lot of remote work and demanding task when on the go and i needed very very good battery life, i'm talking above 8 hours of 1080p video editing, 10 hours of coding, 12 hours of broswing and more, nothing in the market could give me this while portable and powerful.
No, i do not game on it, as i dont game anymore that much, i play like 1-2 hours a week, and thats a good week. With my thiccpad i was carring with me 2-3 extra batteries AND charger, with this i make sure i have at least 7-80% battery...
Coming from linux with all the user power in the system to macos was not that hard, sure it has it quirks same as every other operating system in world expection being TempleOS.
It's the base model, no nano texture display, no fancy shit, just a "bare bone" macbook air m5, which i am very very happy with it, i dont really like apple, but man they improved a lot in the last 6 years.
It's nice that macos is based on unix so working in the terminal is very close with what i am used to.
The notch does not annoy me, for me its something new i guess? Its just there, i had not yet come across to any issue to the macbook that was not user error, but yes macos 26 has some bugs but not majors ones.
Yes, the keyboard is worse than my t520. Why? The keytravel is short, only that. But everything hardware related to it, its very good, and i dont want to sound that i glaze this mac, but its diffrent to anything i had used or come across.
No, i do not find the ecosystem that good as everyone says, i recently switched from android (samsung s22 ultra) to 17 pro. Its just there, i can say its more annoying in some cases, like airdrop does not fucking want to work no matter what.
What i like it stays very cool, and im not talking about what you feel on touch, im talking internally, while video editing in 1080p or 1440p it does not jump above 45 degress and 17W (celsius not freedom units), coding 35 degress and 8W, broswing 25-35 degress 5-10W, sure if you start playing minecraft it starts skyrocketing to 101 degress and uses 35W but come on its passive cooling and also the graphics are maxxed kinda, the avg fps is around 101, i use optifine as i do not trust other performance enhancing mods.
Overall its a great machine, for specific purposes. If you want a productivity machine, powerful ,efficient, silent, and portabale i guess this can be one of your choises. But you can consider a snapdragon laptop if you want something on arm but keep in mind its still shit on windows and linux. Apple kinda forced devs to make their software work on their SoC so yeah...

It just may be my hardware? I had those issues even with linux and windows when it just refused to boot and just spam enter milion of times and it will randomly just boot, and yes i tried using diffrent isos and storage devices , ports etc.

> In some weird cases TempleOS will not boot from your storage device and you may think you did something wrong or i did something wrong...but its just the bios fucking up with you...i had cases where i had NOT CHANGED A SINGLE SETTING OR PORT OR ANYTHING ELSE and i had to try booting 4 or more times and it will randomly boot at some point if you force it enough, i have no clue why it does that. It just may be my hardware? I had those issues even with linux and windows when it just refused to boot and just spam enter milion of times and it will randomly just boot, and yes i tried using diffrent isos and storage devices , ports etc.

Like i literally can put a 64gb ssd in that server and still have a few gigs left from OS and the llm itself from loading itself lol.

Currently for my internal usage, of course it lives in a sandbox, and has access to more shit than a text based llm with no internet access , but at this moment i consider more a legal issue to release it, than hardware, its way to fucking retarded and if asked corretly (not prompt injecting), can start doing damaging stuff, and not related to the sandbox or the host...I am trying to keep it lowkey and you need to read it between lines and i also leave stuff to your hopefully correct interpetration.

Anyways i forgot where i was going with this part of the thread.
